Biography
I spent my early years in Baotou and studied civil engineering at Inner Mongolia University and China University of Geosciences (Beijing). I then moved to the University of Lausanne for a Ph.D. in Earth Sciences, supervised by Professors Michel Jaboyedoff and Yury Podladchikov. In July 2026, I joined Xihua University in Chengdu.
My research interests include numerical simulation, with applications extending beyond geohazards, high-performance computing, the integration of simulation and artificial intelligence, and risk analysis and management.
We can simulate many fascinating phenomena and physical systems. More importantly, I believe the value of computation lies in understanding its results and using them to explain scientific questions and the phenomena we observe.
